So, You've Lost Your JOB
64What To Do
Losing a job can be devastating, both to you and your family. Financially, losing a job means the obvious, NO INCOME! Talk about cutting back. You are now going to have to make an entire life change, possibly a new career, a new field, maybe even having to move to where there is work (a job). So what DO you tell them? It is often best to tell them the truth, straight up, delaying it will only make them wonder why you weren’t straight with them to begin with. If they are younger they are not really going to understand what that means and what all it entails. Having to start over itself is going to be stressful and can cause health problems etc.. on its own, so telling the kids outright will take at least that much burden off of you.
So, instead of telling the kids that you have lost your job tell them that you have made a change that will allow you to pass on your income to them and to their children. Tell them that you are setting up a business that you can’t be laid off from, fired from, and isn’t dependant upon what someone else tells you you’re going to get paid, or what you're worth. Tell them that you are building something that will allow you to decide what you are going to make and no-one at “the top” will ever tell you what you are worth. Give them the assurance of a business that can be handed down a couple generations and will allow them, if they want, to attend any school they desire, if that is what they eventually want to do. Give your family REAL SECURITY.
Give them a wealth creating system that has a lot of people talking, people like Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, and Warren Buffet. Tell them you are now doing something for yourself and them that can last a lifetime. See what YOU CAN do.
Tell them today is the day that you build something that a CEO CAN’T take away. It is possible, start a legacy today, give them security for years to come, never worry about a J.O.B. again.
